Bali vs Lombok

Both islands sit within an hour of each other by air, yet they could not feel more different. Bali is polished � centuries of Hindu culture layered over a modern tourism infrastructure. Lombok is quieter, rawer, and for many travellers, more rewarding.

Choose Bali if...

• You want a wide range of restaurants, spas, and curated experiences

• You are travelling with family and want reliable infrastructure

• Cultural immersion � temples, rice terraces, traditional ceremonies � is a priority

Choose Lombok if...

• You want white-sand beaches with half the crowds

• Hiking Mount Rinjani is on your list

• You prefer a slower, less commercialised atmosphere
